Title: Tsunami Charity Day
Description: Thanks everyone.

John - January 18, 2005 06:26 PM (GMT)
Well, what fuckin' day. Absoluteley fantastic. I want to give my thanks to all those involved with the day in whatever way.
Firstly the bands who all gave there time and talent:

C.A.B:
Opened the event for us with a stonking set proving why they won the ''Battle of the Bands'' - Catch them on Sunday 15th May back at th'Barrel.
All 3 Cylinders:
What a set from a truly individual band. Catch them again if you can stand too much excitement on 29th January.
Rolling Thunder:
Brilliant to see the original line up back together and back on form.
Ritual:
Great to have such a brilliant local band (and mates)backing the day (special thanks to Steve-playing on his house moving day) - catch them in action again on 2nd April.
And they played one of my favorite songs ''Carry on my wayward son'' 'kin ace!
Mothers Ruin:
Great to have the boys back and for the first time to a full house,Brilliant purveyors of great classic rock aided by electric drill and pink singlet. Back on 1st April.
Big W:
Thanks to Waz, Ian ,Dave and Glynn who were in on this event from the very start.
They encouraged us to get on with it and provided the P.A and back line and drums for the use of whoever wanted to use it and also did a kickin' set. Back to kick ass on 5th Feb.
Andy Bennet Band:
These guys moved hell and high water to get to us in time - and was it worth it. An absolutely superb tight and rockin' set. They'll be back as soon as we can arrange it. Watch this space.
Now I'd like to thank the compainies and major contributors to the charity auction in no particular order:
