Hello,

Well its been ages since ive been online posting so here goes.

I have recently worked as a music journalist for a Manchester based magazine and really enjoyed it. However due to an editor who was as thick as fu*k he has lost his funding for the mag hence its gone under so the dip shit has dropped all his staff in the shit without a paddle. However I refuse to go under when I enjoyed meeting and interviewing bands so much.

Now I have a lot of web space and I was considering of starting an online magazine for Manchester and Greater Manchester based bands. Im not really bothered if its cover bands, tribute bands or bands that do their own stuff but I was wondering what the general feel of this is.

If I get this site up and running would any of you in a band be interested in having a feature and/or interview up on the web? If there is no interest Ill not bother becuase it is a fair bit of work but its something I enjoy.

It would mean either myself or Carl (Ritual) would do the pics or interview ya.

Its not set in stone yet but if people are interested then Ill set to it right away. Im also going to include local venues for the N/W music scene.

Hi Andrea sounds a great idea especially for bands like Mothers Ruin and Big W
who cant be arsed sorting/paying for a web site or bands such as RiffRaff who dont bother up dating their sites ;)

Site allready in the building stage

Will include a forum for musos and fans, also will include forum sections to advertise and sell gear and pick up musos etc ya know the usual muso bla bla

Should have it online in a week or two

Ok update

The web space is up and running but with little content at the moment. Ive got an inhouse photographer (well of course i have its bleedin carl) and the forum will probably go live before the magazine part of it. Domain names purchased etc

Would like to do a feature on glass barrel as the north wests top music venue heheheheh but will do some more crawling later.
