Well we got there in the end despite of, instead of because of Keiko's management.
And exactly what part Kerrang played in things, I have no idea. I ( and the band )
believe that they've been playing the single - except no one can hear it round here.
I could find no mention of the gig in the magazine at all.
The tour management failed to tell us that we had to provide both a P.A and a support band until lunch time on the day of the gig.
Huge thanks to Retrospect for dragging us out the shite ( again ) with their P.A and also to C.A.B for stepping in as support at about 4 hrs notice, minus one guitar and rocking the place. Also they complimented Keiko well.
Keiko gave it their all, a truly energetic full throttle performance. While not to everybodies taste they do what thay do very well. We will attempt to get them back next year for a grungy rock type night.

We enjoyed it anyway... Alix got 2 CDs & a t-shirt. Definately an energetic band! It'll be nice to see them again. Kerrang radio used to be available around here but you had to be pretty near Manchester to hear it - it was on trial about 18 months - 2 years ago & they were supposed to be getting a permanant license. It is available on digital but I never listen to it :( . To say that I hadn't heard any of their material before I quite enjoyed it!!!
C.A.B. stole the show though methinks - well done lads!!

Maybe the person applying for the license and the person that forgot to tell John n Caz about the need for a PA and a support act are one and the same! <_<
