We believe thet they've had a change of line up ( Better not be the singer!) and are now called The Ivan T Dixon Band.

I had a search before for them and Ivan is the singer. I'll change the site to reflect the poster int' pub :)

Our visit from The Ivan T Dixon band was on a fairly odd night.
It was Christines 40th and she was whisked off in a stretch Lincoln Limo - never seen one of those outside the pub before.
The band were very tight and I enjoyed the set. However the feedback was that they were too blues orrientated for us. Some of the regulars did infact drift away as the night went on. Also the set was quite surprisingly short in the second half.
Maybee if we advertised it as a blue's night we could try again, maybee next year we are infact fully booked for 2005.

Aye I agree'ish! They were pretty tight and I enjoyed the first set ....even from upstairs (sound check woke me up!!!!! :blink: ) But somewhere through the second set I started thinkin I enjoyed the first set better. I like blues but there is only so much I can take in one sitting so that was probably it....all subjective! All in all I did actually enjoy most of it and they were pretty funny and seein's as gigglin is a favourite past time of mine (should be the law to giggle for at least 4 hours of the day) I found them quirkily entertaining.
