Title: Broken Biskits

Billy Bottle - December 9, 2004 12:39 PM (GMT)
We are Broken Biskits, and we are coming to play the Glass Barrel on Friday 28th January. Really looking forward to it. This will be our first gig there, so we hope we can count on your support.

We're a 4 piece (soon to be 5 with the arrival of our new front man) covers band, playing all the classics, plus a few more that you might not expect to hear a rock band play!

For more info visit www.brokenbiskits.co.uk

Cheers,
Billy Bottle. :ph43r:

Nicki - December 15, 2004 01:32 PM (GMT)
Tan, you sound oddly like Caroline at band practice, Nathan's bass amps appear to have a similar effect. Much fighting over who gets to sit where, lucky you if you get to live above it. xxx

Tan - December 15, 2004 03:31 PM (GMT)
I know....its great innit!!!!!!!!

Billy Bottle - December 16, 2004 11:26 AM (GMT)
Billy is King Of The Low Frequencies - I'll make sure I turn it up good 'n' loud for the lay-deez!

Isn't that why ladies like Harly's - cos they rattle buzz and bang like a blown speaker?

Tan - December 16, 2004 12:49 PM (GMT)
Well there is that.....being a non Harley lover though meself.....give me a bass bin any time! At leats you don't need a life long gold membership with the frikin RAC!

Nicki - December 16, 2004 01:34 PM (GMT)
Amusing anecdote....me n chris were having one of our many and long-running 'disucssions' bout finances and why we thus have no form of transportation. Chris suggested going places on a push bike, as he pointed out, we'd probably still get there before Geoff. :) xxx

Tan - December 16, 2004 01:37 PM (GMT)
pmfsllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Well done Nicki.....the first Geoff n his Harley dig!

Nicki - December 16, 2004 01:39 PM (GMT)

Tan - December 16, 2004 02:08 PM (GMT)
I'm so glad we cleared that up!

Nicki - December 16, 2004 05:05 PM (GMT)
Yeah we could've potentially wasted so many valuable work hours trying to resolve this one...and what a shame that would've been. :P :P xxx

Tan - December 17, 2004 09:31 AM (GMT)
Yes that would have been terrible....spending all the working day on here posting messages! Perish the thought!!!!!!

Nicki - December 17, 2004 12:48 PM (GMT)
I'm sure that somehow you'll be able to overcome the terror. At least its semi-constructive i suppose. Communication skills, musical appreciation, wit, computer skills.....all valuable skills in today's fastpaced, dynamic workinh world. Or something like that!! xxx

Tan - December 17, 2004 12:56 PM (GMT)
That'll do me! :headbang:

Nicki - December 17, 2004 12:59 PM (GMT)
You can tell i'm in law school, i can make most things sound convincing. xxx

Tan - December 17, 2004 01:03 PM (GMT)
You mean spout shite?

Nicki - December 17, 2004 01:12 PM (GMT)
For the kinda money they make, i'll spout whatever you want. And i'll do it well. xxx

Tan - December 17, 2004 01:43 PM (GMT)
Wayyyyy too much info there my dear! But I must say I can't argue my learned fiend ;)

Nicki - December 17, 2004 02:00 PM (GMT)
The defence rests, your ladyship. xxx

Tan - December 17, 2004 02:39 PM (GMT)
Court is sent to pub to get pissed!

Nicki - December 17, 2004 03:15 PM (GMT)

Rogue Monkey - December 21, 2004 10:55 AM (GMT)
I just hope you Iron your trousers properly! I`ve seen enough slovenly "bands" frequenting this establishment! :o And .........how about some proper music for a change! How about some Belinda Carlyle or Kadgagoo goo for a change! bring back proper rock music! :headbang:

webmaster - December 21, 2004 10:58 AM (GMT)
You might just like these then, their set list includes Nick Kershaw, Duran Duran and a track from Grease!! ;)

Billy Bottle - December 21, 2004 11:27 AM (GMT)
Hey, Broken Biskits are always very well turned out! We always have nice sharp creases in our jeans, and all our tattoos are spelled right! And personally, I always make sure my hat has been washed & ironed before I get on stage...

Yes, we have some 80's tracks in our repertoire, but let's just say that they're not exactly as you may remember them... if you're lucky, we'll play you a couple on Jan 28th!

I'm looking forward to meeting you lot - be sure to come & say hello. Bring Guinness.
